This fall, The Word on 163rd returns to the Bronx Music Hall with a new season of performances spotlighting distinctive voices from the Bronx and beyond. Featured artist Bxmbii (pronounced bʌm-bee) is a South Bronx native, Latina, and queer creative whose music transforms resilience, heartbreak, and vulnerability into powerful anthems. Blending English and Spanish with fearless authenticity, she delivers raw, deeply personal performances rooted in survival, self-expression, and the spirit of the Bronx.
