Saxophonist and composer Gaia Wilmer joins acclaimed Brazilian vocalist Mônica Salmaso for an album release celebration honoring the music of Gilberto Gil. Reimagining Gil’s iconic songs through the rich sound of a large jazz ensemble, the performance blends Brazilian rhythms, sweeping horn arrangements, and expressive vocals into a vibrant tribute to one of Brazil’s most influential musical voices.
